MYSTERY books are now available!

Hey everyone! Come on by the library and check out a mystery book!

Mystery books are wrapped library books located under the Christmas tree. You won't know what you're getting, but that's the mystery!

There might be a clue as to what you are checking out on the gift tag, such as fiction, or non-fiction, picture book or chapter book. But your guess is as good as mine! You never know what you'll discover in your mystery book.

Rules:
  1. You must unwrap your mystery book outside the library and recycle your paper.
  2. You must read your mystery book.
  3. Only one mystery book per student (please be honest, we want everyone to have a chance)

I might even take your picture....

WATTLE you hear in the library?

Here is the book most classes are listening to this week:

In celebration of our upcoming holiday next week, this story about a turkey in disguise is the perfect tale. The author, Mary Jane Auch is having a birthday this month and is featured on our Birthday Club table in the library. Come and see what other books she has written. Mary Jane is very fond of birds, and most of her books feature poultry as the main characters. Try Poultrygeist, Chickerella, or Peeping Beauty. The text is fill with "eggciting" jokes and chicken humor.
Can you leave an "eggcelent" chicken joke?
Did you like this book?
